24 Jul 09 Meeting with Yasmin Sayyed

Another fabulous meeting arranged by the program chairperson, Vickie Kingman.

Yasmin Sayyed shared with us her bio and her philosophy of art and painting along with real
life samples of her work. We were entertained and inspired. Everyone was one the edge of his chair. To top it off Yasmin had the members create a spontanious work of art using oil pastels and acrylic paints. Another meeting that will not be forgotten.

Trustee Meeting Jul 09

The Board of Trustees held their monthly meeting 2 Jul 2009 and got right down to business planning some really great stuff for the CVAA. Be sure to read about it in the CVAA Newsletter.

To make it more interesting for us, the building department brought in the Fire Marshall for his routine inspection. He found none of the Trustees a fire hazard but kept noting all sorts of mysterious jotings in his official book.
