Carson Valley Days Show 2009

So far the annual CCVA Carson Valley Days Show is off to a great start. Today is the big day for the parade down Hwy 395 starting in Minden and ending in Gardnerville .... the art show is open ... if you have not visited yet come on over. You see here the the ladies and Ron getting the show off to a roaring start accepting the truely wonderful work of so many artists. An empty room turns into a gallery of fine art. Invite your friens and family. The visitors showed much interest in the paintings .. studying them closely ... engaging in animated discussions ... pointing out what they liked the most.
Also posted here are scenes from the exciting artists reception night.. Friday night. Excitment filled the room as visitors and artists mingled, chatted, ate and drank. If you have never attended the artist reception make it a point not to miss it next time. Personal interaction with the artists makes the work even more meaningful. These are friendly local folks who are more than willing to share their inspiration and insights of what went into their work. These are some of the fun times.
